Vintage Japanese wooden black lacquer gold maki-e decorated vanity wholesale w/mirror stand. MIRROR NOT INCLUDED but can be purchased separately. Message me before purchase if you want mirror. The box has a kamon/family crest similar to that of the Tokugawa family. See last picture. Box measures approximately 18 x 12 x 11 inches. Mirror stand measures approximately 8 x 11 inches and is removable. The box has 5 drawers w/original drawer pulls. *The 2 widest drawers do not close completely. See photos. *The lacquer on one drawer is chipped in several areas. See photos. *The inside of drawers have dirt, dust, marks, rings, nicks, scratches due to age and use. See photos. The lacquer is in good condition w/small nicks/chips/worn areas to drawers/edges and flaws as described above. All are signs of age and use associated with a vintage item. A wonderful example of Japanese workmanship. Purchased by me when I lived in Japan. Smoke/pet free home.
