Beautiful Nippon Oyster Plate with 4 oyster wells and center sauce well. Painted with lovely and delicate pink dogwood flowers and accented with foliage and wholesale berries. The center sauce well is also in the shape of a gilded dogwood flower. The background mold is a napkin pattern with 4 ruffled edges behind the 4 shell shaped oyster wells airbrushed in a peach and pink watercolor. The outside rim is scalloped and gilt gold. No chips, cracks or crazing. The back has some ware and dark spots around the foot, not to be seen from the front. There is an added bonus of a plate hanger built into the back! This plate is marked on the back Hand Painted Nippon with the Morimota "M" in the middle. This plate was made in the 1990's. Dimensions: 8 5/8"​​​​​​​​.
