First of two Limited Edition dolls made for Neiman Marcus. Patterned after vintage advertisements that were placed by Neiman Marcus in magazines such as Harper's Bazaar and Vogue in the 1930's. They are truly beautiful dolls with exquisite clothing. Neiman Marcus began running national advertisements in Vogue and Harper's Bizaar magazine in 1934 . This collectible Madame Alexander doll is, in fact, modeled after a vintage ionic Neiman Marcus advertisement for its Fur Salon. Just like the elegant model in the ad, she is dressed in a smart belted suit, wearing a ladylike hat with attached veil, and carrying a fur muffler. Brand New, wholesale Never Opened Box.
