This listing wholesale is for a rare Lot of 2 Vintage Victorian Button - The Four Seasons - Spring and Fall. This exquisite button was added to the button collection of the late Alice E. Mucha of New York in September 2003. The original set was all four seasons. In this lot is Spring and Fall. The designs were transfer printed over the glaze in tones of black, grey, and cream on white porcelain buttons. They have narrow self loop shanks and the rims and backs are painted black. The black on the back of the Spring button is coming off, but can be repainted. They are shown in the BBB, 491-7 & 9. The Spring button measures exactly 0.868” or approx 7/8” (22.04 mm) in diameter and the Fall button measures exactly0.875” or approx 7/8” (22.24 mm) in diameter and comes from a smoke free, pet free environment.
